SGM Message

I would like to commend cadets who successfully competed in the 8th Brigade Competition. we proved that we can stand tall with the best nationwide by besting 10 high schools in the Unarmed Drill Regulation in Torrance, California. I thank our Battalion Commander C/LTC Ezra Barcinas for the manner in which he commanded, controlled, and executed the mission for the competition with the combined teams from the Buck and Stallion Battalion. Also, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the substitute teachers who assisted the cadets who did not join us during the competition.

I want to convey my deepest appreciation to all the cadets who supported the San Isdro Fiesta. I beamed with pride as i witnessed over 80% of the cadets participating in the fiesta procession and I thank the cadets who served as escorts for the King and Queen. Additionally, I want to extend my kudos for the outstanding performance of the Buck Battalion Fancy Drill and Exhibition Rifle Drill at the fiesta.

I must mention how proud I am of the cadets who are seniors who are participating and mentoring the 11th grade cadets in community service activities despite their multiple responsibilities in preparing for their graduation in June.

I ask everyone to work as a team and cooperate with their leaders as we tackle the remaining tasks for this school year. The following major events still need to be completed: Cadet Challenge, Raider's Certification Camp, Service Learning, Memorial Day Support, Change of Command Ceremony, Military Balls on Saipan and Rota, Awards' Ceremony, Buck Organization Day, and JCLC in Saipan. We only have 50 school days to accomplish all these events. However, I am confident that we will be successful in each endeavor.

I would also like to thank our principal, Ms. Sharlene Manglona, for joining us at the 8th Brigade Competition and both her and our Vice Principal, Ms. Annette Calvo for their unconditional and unwavering support throughout the school year.

I wish each and every cadet and your family a safe, restful, and enjoyable Spring Break.

Hooah
